Finally made some forward progress...found out I had copied and pasted some scenes not once, but twice (was moving them around so the timeline made sense as I started inserting scene ideas in italicized text) and my word count dropped back to 6500. (This was last week; 'life' intervened, throw in a couple of days of plain ol' procrastination and here we are on Tuesday, just getting back up to a little over 9,000. But hey, I'm taking off the whole week of Thanksgiving and plan on spending most of it writing or avoiding writing by doing housework.) I envy those who have word counts in the upper teens and approaching the twenties now....my head of steam is just building back up. Can I make 50,000 by November 30? Yes....but my cats would like their litterpans changed before then, or so the committee informed me this morning. Keep writing!

That's discouraging, Linda, but you sound like you've bounced back without a hitch.

My word count is 16,760 Nov. 6 at 11:30 am so my goal for the day will be to hit 20,000, I have all day and its cold and raining out, the hubby will be photographer at a wedding later so it gives me more time to squeeze in a few more words, I hope to be ahead with a good cushion when I leave for our trip on the 15th and 16th.

I just joined the group today and hope to have something by the end of the month. There is a contest I'd like to enter for December, so I'm going to give it a whirl!!!
